Hi! I’m Morgan Calbert,
As an architectural designer and artist, I approach design with a strong focus on the end-user of a space and human interaction. My background as a User Experience Designer (UX) influences how I create spaces, ensuring they are not only functional but also meaningful, sustainable, and engaging.
I’m passionate about designing environments that foster community, well-being, and connection. Healthcare and community-driven projects especially resonate with me because of their potential to positively impact people’s lives. My academic work explores material innovation and storytelling, incorporating sustainable techniques like mass timber and rammed earth to craft thoughtful, lasting spaces.
Beyond architecture, I express my creativity through painting, drawing, and digital design, working under the pseudonym Ruggie, a name rooted in my family history. This artistic practice shapes my perspective and deepens my approach to spatial design. As I continue to grow in my career, I remain committed to creating people-first, impactful architecture that enhances the way we experience the built environment.
